- BEHAVIORAL ADVERTISING AND INTEREST-BASED MARKETING
As mentioned, we may use the information we collect—including device data, browsing history, interactions with our website, and purchase behavior—to serve you advertising that is tailored to your interests. This practice is known as interest-based or behavioral advertising, and it helps us improve the relevance and effectiveness of the ads you see both on our site and across the internet.
To do this, we work with third-party advertising platforms (such as Google, Meta, and others) that use cookies, pixels, tags, or similar technologies to track your activity over time and across websites. These tools allow us to: (i) retarget you with ads after you’ve visited our site; (ii) build lookalike audiences to find new customers with similar interests; (iii) conduct cross-device tracking so that ads are coordinated across your phone, tablet, and computer; (iv) optimize our ad delivery based on what performs best for different audience segments.
To learn more about how interest-based advertising works, visit the Network Advertising Initiative’s educational page: https://thenai.org/about-online-advertising/.
You can opt out of targeted advertising by adjusting your preferences directly. For more information see https://optout.aboutads.info/?c=2&lang=EN. Please note that opting out does not eliminate all advertising—rather, it means that the ads you see may be less relevant to your preferences or online behavior.
